Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide RN services in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology with minimum 2 years experience • Maintain ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications • Perform scrubbing and circulating procedures in combination lab environment • Handle STEMI call procedures with 30-minute callback response time • Provide interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular and EP device implant procedures • Work in 85%/15% split environment with IR being 85% of procedures • Participate in weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all listed services • Provide 24/7 call coverage for STEMI/emergent/urgent IR and cardiology procedures • Work call requirements: twice weekly for two weeks per month, one call weekend per month • Maintain 1:3-4 patient ratios during procedures • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Operate specialized equipment including MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, and various ablation systems • Complete 16 hours of unit orientation upon start • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable training modules pre-start and annually • Adhere to fatigue policy of maximum 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week • Maintain current NC or Compact state licensure • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill sets
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
