Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist providers while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures
• Maintain sterile field during procedures
• Perform room circulation duties
• Perform EKG lead placement
• Handle urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures
• Respond to STEMI callbacks within 30 minutes
• Work as part of a three-person team including minimum one RN
• Operate specialized equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System
• Work with combo lab procedures (90% IR, 10% other procedure types)
• Handle adult and geriatric patient populations
• Assist with device implants including PPM and ICD procedures
• Maintain required certifications including ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT or RCIS
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually
• Work call requirements including weekday call twice a week and weekend call once a month
• Work every third weekend as required
• Complete 40-80 hours of unit orientation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
