Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg Tele to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Med Surg Telemetry units with patient ratios of 1:4/5 • Float between MS/Tele units and affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill set • Work 3x12s or 4x12s night shifts from 7PM-7AM • Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays • Maintain active Arizona RN license or valid compact license • Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias using telemetry monitoring • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations • Start and maintain IVs for patients • Document patient care using Cerner charting system • Utilize standard med surg/tele equipment and Liko lifts • Work with bedside monitors and remote monitoring systems • Complete mandatory modules and orientation training during first week • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Provide two professional references from recent employers • Complete compliance documentation and lab testing within required timeframes • Adhere to facility policies including navy blue scrub requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
