Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Dialysis to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient acute dialysis care for adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Operate Fresenius T-Bluestar dialysis equipment and Aqua caddy RO systems
• Cannulate AV fistulas and AV grafts for hemodialysis access
• Access ports for dialysis procedures
• String hemodialysis and reverse osmosis equipment
• Document patient care using Cerner charting system
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during day and weekend shifts
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7AM-7PM
• Provide on-call coverage 2 days per week
• Work every other weekend as required
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
• Complete 48 hours of facility orientation
• Complete required training modules during first week of orientation
• Maintain active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
• Float to other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals based on census and skill set
• Provide professional references from recent employment within required timeframes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
