Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services in acute care setting Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Maintain current Arizona state license and BLS certification
• Work one weekend day as required by department schedule
• Manage moderate to maximum assist patients with confidence in medical diagnoses
• Perform co-treatments and work with ventilated patients
• Conduct patient evaluations and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day as needed
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation
• Float to surrounding clinics and affiliate hospitals based on census and facility needs
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work with patients requiring various assistive devices, gait training, and mobility equipment
• Perform wound care and manage patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Conduct assessments for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions
• Develop and implement plans of care including short and long-term goals
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Complete required compliance documentation and annual training modules
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
• Maintain professional references and complete background clearance requirements
• Adhere to business casual dress code and facility policies
• Complete 8 hours of orientation and required training modules during first week
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
