Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - EP Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory setting • Circulate and scrub procedures in EP Lab environment • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures • Handle average 10-16 cases per day • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Operate Pyxis and Prucka (GE) unit systems • Float to Cath Lab as needed based on census and unit requirements • Maintain ACLS and BCLS certifications • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations • Implement isolation precautions as required • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 06:45 - 17:15 • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Complete 3 days of unit orientation • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours for acute care) • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Maintain current NC or Compact state nursing license • Provide two manager/supervisor references from within past 12 months • Complete lab visit within 48 hours after contract signing • Complete all required testing within 48 hours • Float to affiliate hospitals as needed based on skill set and census
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
