Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Operate Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier MRI equipment
• Conduct specialized imaging techniques including diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, and spectroscopy
• Perform image post-processing, maximum intensity projection (MIP), and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• Work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 40 cases across 3 rooms
• Provide care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Utilize Epic charting system and Visage PACS for documentation
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Work 12-hour night shifts Thursday through Saturday
• Complete required orientation and training modules
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT credentials
• Adhere to fatigue policy limitations of maximum 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week
• Complete compliance testing within 48 hours after assignment
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Complete non-billable training modules pre-start and annually
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
