Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Spokane Valley, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services in home health setting treating adult patients • Conduct patient visits with 1:1 ratios, seeing 4-6 patients per day to meet 27-30 productivity points standard • Complete OASIS assessments and Start of Care (SOC) documentation as required • Utilize HomeCare HomeBase charting system for all patient documentation • Maintain timely communication and documentation standards • Provide occupational therapy services including activities of daily living, feeding techniques, and adaptive equipment training • Perform splinting services including dynamic, functional, static, and serial/inhibitory splints • Conduct rehabilitation for various conditions including cardiac rehabilitation, arthritis, hand injuries, hip and knee replacements • Provide prosthetic training for upper extremity, above knee, and below knee prosthetics • Utilize therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, TENS, ultrasound, and biofeedback • Travel within assigned territory with occasional radius up to 100 miles • Maintain current BCLS and NBCOT certifications • Hold valid Washington state occupational therapy license • Provide own transportation and maintain valid driver's license • Complete required compliance documentation and training modules • Participate in on-call rotation as assigned • Return all documentation tools and equipment provided by facility • Submit requested time off at time of application • Complete mandatory Hospice/Home Health Checklist
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
