Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Spokane Valley, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services in home health setting • Visit up to 6 patients per day with 27-30 productivity points standard based on territory • Maintain current BCLS certification and valid WA license with NBCOT • Complete OASIS documentation for Start of Care visits • Utilize HomeCare HomeBase charting system for documentation • Provide timely communication and documentation as required • Travel up to 100 miles radius within assigned territory using personal transportation • Care for adult patients with various diagnoses requiring skilled occupational therapy • Maintain and return provided documentation tools and equipment • Complete required compliance documentation and training within 3 weeks • Participate in on-call rotation as assigned • Submit requested time off at time of application • Complete mandatory Hospice/Home Health Checklist • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions including activities of daily living, splinting, prosthetics training, and specialized techniques • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
