Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Stepdown to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading $facility_type$ in Lawton, OK. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, CHF, and other cardiac conditions • Care for patients requiring noninvasive ventilation and cardiothoracic surgery patients post-ICU • Administer antiarrhythmic IV medications and monitor patients with peripheral vascular compromise • Float to Med/Surg or ER units to manage CVICU/Med Surg holds as required • Maintain flexibility with scheduling as block scheduling is not permitted • Work 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule • Maintain current ACLS and NIHSS certifications • Maintain valid Oklahoma state nursing license • Provide at least 6 months of relevant nursing experience • Work night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM • Demonstrate flexibility to cover various units as patient census demands • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for stepdown level patients • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
