Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiology technologist duties in catheterization lab, interventional radiology, and neuro procedures
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Maintain active ARRT certification and OBMI licensure
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart catheterization
• Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and angioplasty procedures
• Support neuro procedural interventions including carotid/cerebral angiograms, stroke thrombectomy, and cerebral coil embolization
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including embolization, stent placement, and biopsy procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment in compliance with state regulations
• Maintain sterile field and perform scrub duties as required
• Function as room circulator during procedures
• Monitor patients accurately and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide on-call coverage for weeknights and weekends as scheduled
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned
• Comply with facility dress code and policies
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Complete background check and compliance documentation
• Work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
