Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lab Specialist - MLT to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Work nights 5x 8-hour shifts (10pm-6:30am) every other weekend
• Perform Medical Laboratory Technician duties with required Blood Bank experience
• Complete Trinity Profile for submission
• Maintain valid state license/certificate verification
• Complete fit testing requirements
• Pass 9 panel drug screening
• Complete Code of Conduct form and compliance documentation
• Complete I-9 employment verification
• Sign confidentiality agreement for patient and property information and system security
• Complete Integrity and Audit Services form
• Pass specialty specific competency testing
• Complete color vision testing
• Provide 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) results
• Complete COVID-19 questionnaire and provide vaccination records
• Complete skills checklist assessment
• Maintain current MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap vaccinations
• Complete physical/health statement
• Complete Conflict of Interest Disclosure form
• Pass criminal background check
• Provide education verification
• Complete EPLS, GSA/OIG, and NSO requirements
• Complete system access form and Joint Commission testing
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
