Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - CPCU/PCU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in CPCU/PCU specialty unit
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 1900-0730
• Maintain current RN licensure and complete license verification
• Complete fit testing and maintain respiratory protection compliance
• Pass required drug screening and maintain drug-free workplace standards
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and professional standards
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklists
• Maintain current immunization records including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo physical/health assessment and maintain fitness for duty
• Complete criminal background check and maintain professional integrity
• Verify educational credentials and professional qualifications
• Complete required compliance screenings and exclusion list verifications
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access training and maintain information security protocols
• Participate in conflict of interest disclosure processes
• Complete annual color vision testing as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
