Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Support a 24/7 stand alone emergency department with no inpatient services
• Work independently during night shift hours when only one CT technologist is staffed
• Demonstrate competency in performing all CT examinations
• Operate Siemens Definition AS 64 slice CT scanner
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation
• Navigate and manage images using Fuji Synapse PACS system
• Maintain current NYS license with IV injection certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday shifts from 6pm-7am
• Work Labor Day holiday as required
• Complete required compliance documentation and health screenings
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Perform physical/health assessment as required
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist assessment
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
