Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - X-ray to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading Hospital in albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment • Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment according to safety protocols • Follow radiation safety guidelines and procedures • Maintain current license and certification requirements • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Complete specialty-specific competency testing • Maintain required health clearances and vaccinations • Complete criminal background check and education verification • Adhere to facility policies and procedures • Complete Joint Commission testing requirements • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage • Complete skills checklist assessments • Follow conflict of interest disclosure requirements • Complete required system access and security training • Work assigned shift hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
