Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Independently perform ultrasound examinations in a free-standing emergency department setting
• Conduct OB ultrasound examinations
• Perform pelvic ultrasound studies
• Execute DVT vascular ultrasound examinations
• Complete carotid ultrasound imaging
• Perform abdominal ultrasound examinations
• Conduct retroperitoneal ultrasound studies
• Execute scrotal ultrasound examinations
• Perform head and neck ultrasound imaging
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Complete required compliance documentation and onboarding requirements
• Undergo Trinity specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete mandatory health screenings and vaccinations
• Maintain valid professional licensure and certifications
• Complete criminal background checks and verification processes
• Adhere to facility policies and code of conduct requirements
• Work Monday through Friday evening shifts from 3p-11p
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
