Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures using advanced medical imaging techniques
• Execute invasive procedures with skilled precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout all procedures
• Conduct medical imaging guided biopsy work
• Operate Phillips interventional rooms and equipment
• Document patient information and procedures in EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate effectively with medical team members using strong interpersonal skills
• Maintain current ARRT-RT certification
• Maintain valid New York State radiologic technologist license
• Complete required health screenings and vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Undergo tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete mandatory fit testing for respiratory protection
• Pass required drug screening and background checks
• Complete Trinity-specific training modules and competency testing
• Maintain compliance with patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Adhere to facility codes of conduct and conflict of interest policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
