Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - RN Cardiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiology specialty • Maintain current RN licensure and certifications • Complete COVID-19 vaccination and provide documentation • Obtain and maintain required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap • Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing • Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment • Complete physical examination and health statement requirements • Pass required drug screening and background checks • Complete all Trinity compliance documentation and forms • Participate in specialty-specific competency testing • Complete Joint Commission testing requirements • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage • Provide education and employment verification documentation • Complete system access and security agreement forms • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery • Complete all required onboarding documentation and training programs

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in NY
Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
State-required professional license
Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
