Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Siemens CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
• Support busy CT department with ER and inpatient studies
• Perform CT scans independently with minimal supervision
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and record management
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid NYC X-ray License including injection privileges
• Maintain current ARRT certification
• Work weekend shifts including Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as scheduled
• Complete required health screenings and vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete mandatory drug screening and physical health assessments
• Comply with all professional documentation requirements and background checks
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and Joint Commission requirements
• Adhere to facility policies regarding patient confidentiality and system security
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
