Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotics, orthopedic, and neurological surgical procedures to meet call requirements
• Maintain current surgical technician certification and state licensure
• Complete required Trinity specialty specific competency testing
• Maintain current health requirements including vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA testing)
• Pass required physical/health statement and fit testing
• Complete 9 panel drug screening and color vision testing
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and maintain professional integrity
• Complete required compliance documentation including conflict of interest disclosure
• Maintain system security agreement and confidentiality of patient information
• Successfully pass criminal background check and exclusion list screenings
• Provide education verification and professional references
• Complete required onboarding documentation and system access forms
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
