Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - RN OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Operating Room (OR) setting
• Work call shifts as required, including 2 to 3 twelve-hour weekend shifts per six weeks
• Complete regular shifts of 4-10 hours with flexibility for extended shifts until 7p when cases are still running
• Demonstrate proficiency in neurological procedures including burr holes and craniotomies
• Maintain competency in all general and orthopedic trauma procedures
• Operate and assist with basic DaVinci robotic surgical procedures
• Provide care for all case types in a level two trauma center setting
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Complete mandatory health screenings including drug screening and fit testing
• Obtain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass criminal background check and complete integrity verification processes
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklists
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain system security protocols and complete required training modules
• Complete Joint Commission testing and maintain NSO requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
