Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mammography examinations as a certified Mammography Technologist
• Operate mammography equipment including EPIC, DR, and Primordial systems
• Work Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM schedule
• Maintain current mammography technologist certification
• Complete required skills checklist and competency assessments
• Comply with all facility policies and procedures
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete annual tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Undergo annual physical examination and health assessment
• Complete required background checks and security clearances
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete annual drug screening and fit testing
• Maintain clean motor vehicle record for facility requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
