Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - RN OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Operating Room (OR) setting
• Work 2 to 3, 12-hour weekend shifts per six weeks
• Work shifts of 4-10 hours with 1 to 2 asterisk shifts (may be required to stay until 7p if cases are still running)
• Provide care for patients requiring neurological procedures including burr holes and craniotomies
• Demonstrate proficiency in all general and orthopedic trauma procedures
• Operate and assist with basic DaVinci robotic surgical procedures
• Provide care for all case types except burn patients in a level two trauma center
• Respond to call requirements as needed
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Complete required health screenings and vaccinations
• Complete mandatory competency testing and skills assessments
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security protocols
• Participate in ongoing education and Joint Commission requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
