Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Tech - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT Tech duties and responsibilities for 36 hours per week on 3x12 hour shifts
• Work Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts from 1830-0730 (6:30 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Be available for on-call duties possibly 1830-07 Monday through Friday and 24-hour weekend coverage
• Operate CT imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
• Utilize Epic EHR system for patient documentation and record management
• Work with McKesson system for imaging workflow management
• Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize GE-specific protocols
• Maintain current BLS certification throughout assignment
• Complete required license and certificate verification processes
• Pass fit testing and maintain compliance with personal protective equipment requirements
• Complete Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen and maintain drug-free status
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and organizational policies
• Complete I9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information per system security agreements
• Complete integrity and audit services compliance requirements
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing for CT imaging
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete annual physical and health statement requirements
• Undergo criminal background check and maintain clean background status
• Complete education verification and professional reference checks
• Pass Joint Commission testing and maintain compliance standards
• Complete skills checklist and demonstrate clinical competencies
• Maintain valid state licensure and certification throughout assignment
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
