Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Tech - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures and imaging services
• Work 40 hours per week on a 4x10 schedule (Wednesday-Saturday, 1000-2030)
• Provide on-call coverage possibly 1830-07 Monday-Friday and 24-hour weekend coverage
• Work every other holiday as scheduled
• Utilize McKesson imaging systems (preferred experience)
• Operate GE CT equipment (preferred experience)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Document patient information using Epic EHR system
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Complete 9-panel drug screening
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and tuberculosis screening
• Complete annual physical/health statement
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Complete skills checklist assessments
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete background checks and exclusion list screenings
• Comply with conflict of interest disclosure requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
