Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker - Social Worker to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide social work services in a healthcare setting
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work 40 hours per week with 8am-4:30pm schedule
• Work every other weekend as assigned
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Complete required license/certificate verification and maintain valid state licensure
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing, drug screening, and vaccinations
• Maintain up-to-date immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete comprehensive background check and criminal history verification
• Adhere to professional code of conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
• Complete required education verification and skills checklist
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Complete physical/health statement and color vision assessment
• Maintain motor vehicle record compliance
• Complete required system access and security agreements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
