Experience

- Certification from IAHCSMM or HSPA
Skills Required
- Experience in Acute Hospital Operating Room (OR)
- Cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps)
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
- Use of washers/sterilizers
- Case cart management
- Proper selection of wrapping materials
- Sterilization wrapping procedures
- Sets/trays assembly
- Equipment documentation
- Knowledge of sterilization testing and monitoring
- Manual cleaning
- Proper labeling and organizing of trays
- Experience with various scopes and instruments (e.g., Cystoscopes, Uteroscopes, Da Vinci Robotics)
Desired Skills
- Experience with robotics instrumentation
- Charting system experience with Epic preferred
- Experience in specialty areas such as Trauma, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Podiatry preferred
