Experience

- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD)
- IAHCSMM/HSP certification
Skills Required
- Experience in acute hospital operating room
- Cleaning equipment including crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
- Knowledge of High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
- Use of washers and sterilizers
- Case cart management
- Proper selection of wrapping materials
- Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures
- Assembly of sets and trays
- Documentation of equipment
- Knowledge of sterilization testing and monitoring for steam and Sterrad
- Experience with manual cleaning
- Ability to properly label and organize trays
- Experience with fiber optics and endoscopy procedures
- Experience with laparoscopic and vascular procedures
- Experience with drilling equipment
Desired Skills
- Robotics experience preferred
- Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and related systems preferred
- Experience with specialty surgeries such as ophthalmology and podiatry preferred
