Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room Technician experience required
- 6-12 months of Emergency Room experience required if currently an EMT
- Recent work history within the last 3-6 months required
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years required
License & Certification Required
- BLS (must be AHA certified)
Skills Required
- ADLs assistance
- Phlebotomy
- Understanding abnormal/normal vital sign parameters
- Ability to report abnormal findings
- Assisting with setup of bedside procedures
- Post-mortem care
- Applying restraints
- Labeling specimens and transport
- Performing EKGs
- Behavioral health de-escalation
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- EPIC experience
Requirements
- Current Resume
- State Licensure
- Current BLS and any Specialty Certifications
- Negative TB Test (Within 12 Months)
- Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
- Current - Tdap/Flu Vaccinations
- Must be able to pass pre-employment, background and drug screening
