Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform bone density examinations using DEXA technology with current and proficient experience • Maintain active ARRT RT (R) certification through OBMI • Maintain current BLS certification • Provide adult outpatient radiologic services with 1:1 patient ratios • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures • Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE usage when required • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Complete 80 hours of orientation training upon start • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules averaging 16 hours • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Work with GE equipment and maintain technical proficiency • Serve adult and geriatric patient populations • Handle daily census of approximately 32 patients across 2 examination rooms • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Maintain reliable transportation for assignment requirements • Adhere to facility dress code and professional standards • Complete required compliance documentation and background requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
