Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services across assigned units within the facility
• Maintain current BLS and NBCOT certifications
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Work 3 weekend days per month as required
• Work one holiday per year on rotation schedule
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and maintain experience with charting systems
• Float between units within the hospital as assigned with provided training
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Complete required modules during orientation and annually (average 16 hours)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Complete compliance process and required documentation prior to start
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Submit monthly cell phone bills directly to agency when applicable
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling and rotation requirements
• Provide acute care occupational therapy services
• Apply skills in activities of daily living, cardiac rehabilitation, hand injury treatment, prosthetics, and splinting techniques
• Work with various patient diagnoses requiring occupational therapy intervention
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care team
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
