Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Salem, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Implement and follow through with established treatment plans
• Provide outpatient hand therapy services
• Treat patients with post-operative hand surgeries
• Perform splinting procedures and techniques
• Maintain current BLS certification from AHA within 90 days of hire
• Hold valid Oregon Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible
• Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Float to affiliate hospitals as needed, including West Valley Hospital
• Work Monday through Friday schedule in 4x10-hour shifts
• Complete specialty-relevant certifications as required
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Maintain NBCOT certification
• Provide patient care services in compliance with facility standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
