Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT technologist duties for inpatient and outpatient services • Operate CT scanners in main department and ED department as assigned • Work scheduled weekend shifts (Saturday 1600-0430 and Sunday 1830-0700) • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during shifts • Provide CT imaging services for all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults • Perform various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging • Administer contrast media when required for procedures • Start peripheral IVs as needed for contrast administration • Follow isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE • Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system • Work with multiple CT equipment types including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba • Utilize PACS system for image management • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain current ARRT certification • Complete required training modules during orientation and annually • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
