Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Rotating at a leading Hospital in Petoskey, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide surgical technician services across various specialties including General, Ortho, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, and OB procedures • Assist with general elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures • Work 3 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45a-7:15p • Participate in one night of call per week (7p-7a) • Cover one weekend call per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, 7p-7a) • Work rotating holidays as scheduled • Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification • Maintain current NBSTSA or NCCT certification • Adhere to strict attendance policy requirements • Complete skills checklist within one year of application • Maintain required state licensure and certifications • Follow all facility policies and procedures for surgical services • Provide quality patient care in surgical settings • Assist with full spectrum of surgical procedures and tests
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
