Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including routine outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Conduct head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans without and/or with contrast
• Perform vascular CTA scans including pulmonary embolism, aorta, and other vascular studies
• Execute specialized procedures including CT arthrography, myelography, and transplant studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Start peripheral IVs when needed
• Perform biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) imaging
• Provide CT services for musculoskeletal trauma cases
• Support Level I trauma center operations
• Work with pediatric patients including NICU and PICU cases
• Serve patients across all age groups: infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate GE CT equipment efficiently
• Utilize PACS system for image management
• Document procedures using Cerner charting system
• Float within department and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work in fast-paced environment with ability to multitask efficiently
• Take call 3 days per month as required
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled
• Maintain current ARRT CT certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required compliance documentation within specified timeframes
• Complete orientation modules during first week of assignment
• Adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration protocols
• Provide professional references from recent employment within required timeframes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
