Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures including diagnostic and interventional procedures • Operate specialized equipment including Rotoblader, IAPB, and Impella systems • Conduct cardiac diagnostic and intervention procedures • Perform peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures • Monitor patients using accurate monitoring techniques during procedures • Assist with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) • Support electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation and mapping • Assist with pacemaker insertion and AICD programming • Perform EKG settings and interpretation including 12-lead EKG and rhythm interpretation • Maintain sterile field during scrub procedures • Document patient care using Cerner charting system • Float to outpatient catheterization laboratory and affiliate hospitals as needed • Participate in on-call coverage (18 days in 8 weeks) • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications • Complete required orientation modules and ongoing training programs • Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards including medication administration protocols • Work scheduled holidays as required (2 out of 3 major holidays) • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members • Operate advanced catheterization laboratory equipment including Mac Lab, Xper, and CSI systems
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
