Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - EP Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab with scrub experience • Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation and care coordination • Perform electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies • Assist with insertion and programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators) • Support pacemaker insertion procedures and left atrial appendage closure • Conduct arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and tilt table studies • Provide charge nurse responsibilities and leadership in the EP Lab • Care for adult and geriatric patients with a 1:1 patient ratio • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules within specified timeframes • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty setting • Maintain valid state nursing licensure and required certifications • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for patient care duties • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules to appropriate systems • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for safe patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
