Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ICU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 nights at a leading Hospital in Petoskey, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the ICU setting
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Maintain valid Michigan state nursing license with LARA and Nursys verification
• Float to similar units as required
• Demonstrate EKG comfortability and interpretation skills
• Work night shifts for 12-hour periods
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Be available for possible on-call assignments
• Adhere to strict 3-strike attendance policy with no more than 20 minutes tardiness
• Make up any call-ins within the contract time frame
• Work holiday shifts from 7 pm eve of holiday to 7 pm of holiday
• Comply with health system-wide profile standards
• Maintain professional standards and facility policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
