Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures
• Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiology and neuro procedures
• Perform coil embolization, rotablader, and ablation procedures
• Manage peripherals, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Obtain vital signs and perform rhythm interpretation
• Monitor sinus node rhythms and perform Holter monitoring
• Set up and maintain equipment for procedures
• Prepare access sites and maintain sterile field
• Perform accurate monitoring during procedures
• Stock supplies and maintain room organization
• Float between specialties within the catheterization lab
• Respond to STEMI and stroke cases
• Work Monday through Friday with call requirements
• Provide Saturday and Sunday call coverage
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS certifications and state licensure
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment
• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
