Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Lubbock, TX. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services in acute care setting for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Maintain current BLS certification and valid state licensure • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually (average 16 hours, non-billable) • Work weekends on rotation with full-time therapy staff • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Float between sister facilities as required by assignment • Comply with facility dress code requirements • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years • Complete required compliance documentation and background checks • Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Maintain flexibility with scheduling and floating requirements to avoid contract termination • Treat patients with various conditions including post-operative cases, spinal conditions, joint replacements, neurological disorders, and traumatic injuries • Develop and implement home exercise programs and provide patient/family education
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in TX
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
