Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer - Echo Sonographer to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiographic examinations and cardiac ultrasound procedures
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images of the heart
• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Participate in on-call rotation one night per week
• Maintain current ARDMS or CCI cardiac sonography certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize CPACS and EPIC systems for documentation and image management
• Complete required health screenings including TB questionnaire and drug screening
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete mandatory orientation and skills checklist requirements
• Comply with facility policies and code of conduct requirements
• Maintain valid professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required background checks and compliance documentation
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and continuing education requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IN
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
