Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, and catheter/drain exchanges • Conduct central venous access procedures including PICC lines, tunneled ports, and non-tunneled central lines • Perform specialized procedures such as chest tube placement, dialysis graft interventions, embolization, and IVC filter placement • Execute diagnostic procedures including liver biopsies, nephrostomy, thoracentesis, and upper/lower extremity angiography • Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain fluoro permit certification • Provide hemodynamic monitoring and patient care for adults and geriatric patients • Handle daily caseload of typically up to 6 patients across 3 procedure rooms • Perform required procedures including peripherals and kyphoplasty • Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, and state licensure certifications • Complete 16 hours of orientation and required training modules pre-start and annually • Provide on-call coverage 1-2 days per week and rotating weekends • Float between facilities within the state as required • Utilize PACS system for imaging and documentation • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Maintain current LA Fire Card certification • Complete required compliance documentation and background checks • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
