Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including chest, abdomen, extremities, and spine imaging • Conduct portable and bedside imaging procedures as needed • Operate imaging equipment including C-Arm, O-ARM, and PACS systems • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Maintain radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures • Provide imaging services for multiple patient age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics • Work in various departments including ER, ICU, Operating Room, and outpatient settings • Perform specialized procedures such as arthrography, barium studies, and trauma imaging • Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, and California CRT certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid California state licensure • Comply with facility dress code requirements • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
