Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Healdsburg, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, brain, cervical, chest, and other anatomical regions
• Conduct specialized MRI studies such as CINE, diffusion, perfusion, and magnetic resonance angiography
• Operate GE 1.5T Mobile MRI equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Perform image post-processing including ADC mapping and subtraction techniques
• Utilize multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and maximum intensity projection (MIP)
• Work with surface coils and produce T-1 and T-2 weighted images
• Operate PACS system for image management
• Provide care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Maintain current ARRT R certification and BLS certification
• Maintain valid CA state licensure
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
