Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Huntersville, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Conduct specialized procedures including aspirations, biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and CTAs
• Operate GE and Siemens CT scanners including Definition and Force models
• Utilize EPIC and McKesson systems for patient documentation and workflow
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction and image processing
• Provide CT services for outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and adult ICU patients
• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Start IVs and administer contrast as required for procedures
• Support cardiac imaging and radiation treatment planning scans
• Assist with research-related CT examinations
• Work 10-hour night shifts from 21:00 to 06:30
• Complete missed shifts within the same week when possible
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT (CT) credentials
• Complete corporate orientation including Epic training and facility orientation with preceptor
• Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements including royal blue scrubs
• Comply with vaccination requirements including annual flu vaccine
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
