Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans on infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics patients • Operate GE and Siemens Scanner (Model Name is the FORCE) equipment • Handle daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms • Work in emergency department performing routine ED scans, Code Stroke and trauma cases • Perform CT procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction • Provide inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU services • Work in very fast-paced environment with typical caseload of 8-12 patients per 8-hour shift • Utilize EPIC and Visage systems for documentation and imaging • Maintain current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications • Work weekend schedule covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Comply with royal blue scrub dress code requirements • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Complete compliance documentation within 48 hours after signing • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references from past 12 months • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
