Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg Tele to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Muskegon, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Maintain current NIHSS certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work 7p-7:30a shifts and every other weekend
• Complete fit testing for respiratory protection
• Maintain current tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Complete required COVID-19 vaccination and questionnaire
• Maintain current MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap vaccinations
• Complete annual physical and health statement
• Pass required drug screening
• Complete facility-specific profile and code of conduct requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Pass criminal background check
• Complete education verification process
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete color vision testing
• Maintain valid state nursing licensure
• Complete system access and security requirements
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
