Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Work scheduled shifts from 1500-2330 Monday through Friday with occasional weekend call on rotation
• Perform sterile processing technician duties requiring certification
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete 9-panel drug screening
• Sign and adhere to code of conduct requirements
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and property information per system security agreement
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Pass specialty specific competency testing
• Complete color vision testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, tuberculosis screening, and Varicella
• Complete annual influenza vaccination (optional)
• Complete physical and health statement requirements
• Maintain conflict of interest disclosure compliance
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete EPLS, GSA/OIG, and NSO verification processes
• Complete system access documentation
• Complete COVID-19 specific health questionnaire
• Maintain current Tdap vaccination
• Demonstrate competency through skills checklist completion
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
