Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ER to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Muskegon, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Emergency Room setting
• Work 7p-7:30a schedule every other week
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS (or ENPC) certifications
• Complete fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Undergo tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination and health questionnaire requirements
• Maintain up-to-date immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical examination and health assessment
• Pass required drug screening and background check processes
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for emergency department
• Undergo color vision screening assessment
• Complete all required compliance forms and documentation
• Maintain valid nursing license and ensure verification
• Adhere to confidentiality agreements and system security protocols
• Complete required education verification and professional credentialing
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
