Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform Cardiovascular Technologist duties requiring RCIS or RT background
• Maintain current BLS/ACLS certification
• Work day shift from 7am-5:30pm
• Provide on-call coverage 1-2 shifts during the week
• Work every 4th weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
• Scrub cases in the catheterization laboratory
• Monitor cases during cardiac procedures
• Utilize minimum 2 years direct Cath Lab experience
• Complete required specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete mandatory health screenings and vaccinations
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Complete required compliance documentation and training
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
